Recently we purchased a new video camera. Well, the camera wasn't working well with our PC. The computer was about three years old. Ty had given it to me for my bridal shower, about six months before we were married. We wanted something with better multi-media programs now that we had Tyler. We decided to buy an
iMac and try to sell the old computer. Funny thing, the video camera didn't work with our
iMac. What are the odds that we pick a computer that is "too advanced/new" for a camcorder that is less than four months old?!?! So, we sell the video camera and purchase a new one...one that we know will work with our new computer. All of this transpired about three months ago. Well, our digital camera was the only thing left to replace. Ty has had it for almost eight years and it is the SLOWEST camera on the face of the earth. I have been complaining about it for weeks and weeks. The picture quality has also gone down hill in a hurry...as you can see from the pictures on this blog.
Do you want to know what I got for my birthday???? Yes, you guessed it, a new digital camera. We had talked about buying a new one for Christmas but he surprised me on Friday, with a Cannon PowerShot. I love it and it hasn't been put down since it was taken out of the package. Thank-you to my mom and my husband!
(This picture was taken with the old camera so please excuse the poor quality!)
