One Year and One Week

Today was Tyler's one year check-up.  She weighed in at 24.12 lbs, which is in the 90% for her age. Her weight gain has slowed down a bit since her last visit.  She is 32in, which is still off the chart. Her weight-for-height puts her in the 70% for her age.  The doctor says she looks fantastic and is growing just like she should.  Her weight will continue to slow down, due in part to her increased mobility (walking).  She handled her shots pretty well although having them in the arms instead of the thighs was a bit more traumatic for the both of us.  

On a yucky note, Tyler has another ear infection, maybe two.  Her left ear was infected and it looked as though her right ear was collecting fluid (on it's way to an infection).  This is the third ear infection in three months.  We are going to give antibiotics another go.  Her doctor wants to talk about sending us to an ear, nose and throat specialist if we have another ear infection.
