Our first Christmas was spent with the Smith family. Ava and Tyler exchanged gifts; Tyler got a baby stroller and Ava got the DVD "Polar Express". It was fun to watch the girls open their gifts! I caught Ty asleep on the couch with Addy...reminded me of when Tyler was little and the two of them would always be asleep on the couch, together. After gifts, we had our usual Sunday dinner with them. We try very hard to have dinner together every Sunday and so far we have been able to do so most Sundays. It has been such a blessing to have one of my best friends and her family right down the street!!!
